A 13-year-old honor student from Bushell Park, Saskatchewan, Jonathan first started riding motorcycles at 5 years old and began racing competitively at 6 years old.  In his 7 years of racing, Jonathan has amassed 4 Canadian National Championships as well as multiple regional Championships in Mini Road Racing and has also experienced success racing abroad in the United States and Europe.

Jonathan has been competing full time in the Dodici Polici Italian Cup during the 2016 race season.  Competing against some of the best MiniGP riders in Europe, Jonathan continuously proved his ability by consistently earning top 10 finishes.  Having missed 2 races, Jonathan Finn completed the 2016 Dodici Pollici Italian Cup series in 10th place out of 22 riders overall.

For the 2017 season, Jonathan has an opportunity to continue his racing career in Spain as part of the RFME Campeonato de Espana de Velocidad Challenge 85 series.   Racing at tracks like Jerez, Valencia and Motorland-Aragon, this series is a steppingstone to the CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship.  Jonathan’s goal is to represent Canada/North America and be the first Canadian to compete at this level.


During the 2015 season, Jonathan participated in 4 different championships across western Canada earning 24 podiums including 14 race wins.  His consistency helped Jonathan earn 4 Championships including the 2015 Canadian Motorcycle Association (CMA) National Championship, Western Canadian Mini Road Racing Championship as well as runner-up in the inaugural Honda Canada Grom Prix series.  At the end of the 2015 season, Jonathan was invited to participate as a wildcard entry in the Italian MiniGP European Championship in Adria, Italy late September where he earned 2 top 10 finishes.
